Happy New Year everyone! 2012 is going to be a BIG year for IUGO, we can just feel it!
We’re extremely excited to be back from the holidays and developing updates for our well-loved games as well as actively exploring new game ideas. The creative juices are really flowing over here and we’ve got some very exciting concepts that we’re just dying to start development on.
In other news, the latest Animal Academy update went live right before Christmas. If you haven’t yet, check that one out – It introduces a Cake Decorating Class, Model Train Workshop and Nurse Squeaks’ Office!

Over at the IUGO offices, we’re putting the finishing touches on our unannounced next game. Can't wait to let you know all about it!
We’ve also got an Animal Academy update in the works, so Animal Academy fans can expect to see some new students, teachers, classrooms, student gifts and student yearbook details in the future. I’ve heard an interesting rumor that Ms. Squeaks has a sister who will be coming to work at Animal Academy which may stir things up a bit. Looking forward to that!

Wow, it’s November already and the year is almost over. 2011 has seen the release of two all-new IUGO social games: Sunshine Cruise Lines and Animal Academy. Before the year is up, IUGO will be releasing one more new social game – Right in time for the Holidays! We’ll release some details about this new game very soon!

Over at the IUGO offices we’re working hard on an all-new IUGO original game and loving every minute of it! Stay tuned – we’re planning to release some details about our top secret new project very soon.
We’re also as committed as ever to updating our existing titles. Update 1.3.0 for Animal Academy just went live very recently and features: an extended level cap, upgradable classrooms (Gr. 1 – Gr. 6), a brand new volleyball classroom, giraffe students and teacher and more popularity questions!
Breaking News - Implode! now available on Windows Phone
IUGO's classic physics game is now available on Windows Phone! 150 levels to play, an editor to make levels of your own, and special achievements specific to this platform make this a must-have for your Windows Phone.

Back to school is right around the corner and what better way to get in the mood for classes and books than with Animal Academy! We’re delighted to see that IUGO’s latest animal-school-themed offering is a huge hit with fans who have given the game a solid 4.5/5 star rating on the App Store.
We’re committed to keeping Animal Academy and Sunshine Cruise Lines fresh with updates, so expect to see some new content for both of these games in the very near future. Animal Academy will soon feature exotic field trips, wonderful new classrooms (Wizardry, Marine Biology and more) and new animal species (Teddy Bears, Dragons and more)! In addition to adding tons more goals, we’ll also be adding some dazzling new ship themes (Animal Safari Ship, Midge’s Ship etc) to Sunshine Cruise Lines to keep you sailing in style.
Apart from updates, we’ve also got some completely new games in the works that we are having an absolute blast with. We’ll be sure to keep you posted!

It may be the middle of summer, but over here at IUGO we’ve got ‘back-to-school’ on the mind! We are putting the finishing touches on our latest game – a charming simulation title that makes you the Principal of the cutest school around. The Sunshine Cruise Lines crew has been pretty busy too. Recent updates to the game have introduced a thrilling new storyline, new ports (Down Under, Remote) and new types of en-route gameplay. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, IUGO has released more new content to keep the Sunshine Cruise Captains happy!

work developing loads of new content for the game. Expect to see brand new ports, new ways to play and a continuation of

As all you loyal fans eagerly await the launch of Sunshine Cruise Lines, we’d like to pay homage to our most popular games to-date. Remember Toy Bot Diaries? This was IUGO’s foray into original IP and started the company on an exciting new track of creating its own games. It was one of the iPhone’s first exclusive titles and everyone loved it! If you haven’t yet, be sure to go grab this iPhone classic
If you’re a lover of zombie games and tower defense, Zombie Attack! Second Wave XL is DEFINITELY the game for you. This game rose to popularity a year ago because players loved IUGO’s unique take on the tower defense genre with the always-loved Zombie theme. You can grab ZA!2 here.
Lastly, one of IUGO’s biggest titles yet has been Implode! XL, a super fun 2D physics puzzler. We’ve updated this game many times with tons of levels and it also has its very own level builder for the iPhone and iPad! New levels are constantly being created for you to play. If you take great pleasure in blowing stuff up, grab Implode! XL now.

This month IUGO sets sail on our most exciting title yet! We announced Sunshine Cruise Lines during GDC last month. Cruise is our second social game to-date and this time we’re self-publishing! Sunshine Cruise Lines is a cruise management game that can be played with your friends. As with all IUGO games, Cruise looks great, plays intuitively, allows for creativity and offers a unique experience full of charm. Check back on the Cruise page for updates.

It’s warming up here in Vancouver, BC and as the tulips bud, new games, new announcements and other exciting stuff are budding at IUGO! We head down to San Francisco for GDC at the beginning of this month, don’t miss Sarah’s session We will also be announcing our latest social game at GDC! Yet another reason to attend the Smartphone Summit session.
Lastly, Lil’ Pirates has seen a new update go out late last month featuring a new cabin area to customize and showcase trophies, new maps and tons more. Lil’ Pirates has also been selected as a finalist in Pockgamer’s Awards for 2011 in the category of best FREEmium game!

We’re neck deep in projects here at IUGO. We continue to work hard on some fun, new social titles for you to enjoy. You should be hearing of at least one of them during GDC beginning at the end of this month. Also, be sure to catch our very own VP of Business Development’s Sarah Thomson who will be speaking at the Smartphone Summit during GDC on March 1st.
WP7 will be launching Zombie Attack! Second Wave under the Xbox Live area very soon. Go check it out if you have a fancy WP7 device; you won’t be disappointed! This will be our 5th title to be released for WP7, joining Cliffed, ESCAPE, Daisy Mae’s Alien Buffet and Spy Bot Chronicles. Also coming soon is Implode!, an Xbox Live-supported game and Star Hogs, our ambitious 3D strategy shooter game.

Happy New Year all! It’s 2011 and boy are we pumped here at IUGO. We have a funny feeling this is going to be our most exciting and successful year yet. Why? Well, we continue to push out awesome games that people love to play and we’re excited to push the limits in technology, innovation and great game design. Social gaming on smartphones will reach a frenzied pitch this year and IUGO will be right in the middle of it.
This is also the beginning of convention season in North America and IUGO plans to attend a few. First off our VP of Biz Dev, Sarah Thomson, will be attending the InsideSocialApps convention in San Francisco at the end of January. To follow, Sarah will be speaking at the GDC Smartphone Summit in San Francisco at the end of February/beginning of March this year. You won’t want to miss that!
Our teams are growing and beginning work on several incredible projects, some internal and some with prestigious partners. More to come on that later this year.

We just can’t believe 2010 is almost over. 2010 marks the year that IUGO jumped headlong into social games with its premiere title Lil’ Pirates in partnership with Capcom. This has taken IUGO into an exciting new direction as we negotiate new projects and deals with brand new, exciting partners for 2011.
Our decision to bring content over to WP7 is paying off! Cliffed, Daisy Mae’s Alien Buffet and ESCAPE are selling like gangbusters on the devices. Keep your eye out for more IUGO games on WP7 such as Zombie Attack! Second Wave. We have a feeling ZA!2 will be making a special appearance for the holidays.
As IUGO wraps 2010, we are buzzing with excitement for 2011. We believe this will be a HUGE year for the company. Exactly HOW this plays out will be for you and us to find out together. ARGGHHH Mateys! Lil’ Pirates be out on the App Store NOW . The game that has consumed every ounce of our hard work, love and being is finally available. It’s FREE so you have no excuse not to download it! There is a great thread started on Touch Arcade where you can chime in on what you love and hate about the game. We’re listening so please don’t hold back! We can’t wait to see how Lil’ Pirates does.
We are committed to a number of updates that will include more content, more maps, tweaks on the features and gameplay and so much more. Keep playing and we’ll keep you inspired.
We also have games appearing for Windows Phone 7 devices in the marketplace! Cliffed, ESCAPE and Daisy Mae’s Alien Buffet can now be played on WP7 devices. More are coming so keep one eyeball on the store for more IUGO games.

October 2010 - Breaking News!
Well it seems the Pirates are out of the bag! We can finally announce our partnership with Capcom on our brand new social game called Lil' Pirates. We have poured our blood, sweat and tears into this game for the past 4 months.
This is a game where you can login to your Facebook account and play with other Facebook friends who have downloaded the game onto their iPhones. There's a ton of customization to both your ship and your avatar. Send your crew out on jobs as well as bury treasure and fight in ship battles.

You'll see more announcements and details released very soon. We're hoping to have it out on the App Store for the end of October/beginning of November. Did I mention it's FREE TO PLAY? Arrrrrrrr!!

Howdy partners! IUGO is heading down to Austin, Texas for GDC Online next week. Yee Haw!! We’re very excited for this trip as we finally have LOTS to talk about. Firstly, we’ve been given the go ahead to showcase our Windows Phone 7 games by Microsoft. Come grab us to demo Zombie Attack! Second Wave and Implode! for you on the snazzy new prototype devices. They look real purdy.
Secondly we are now able to show off our big secret project that we’ve been working on for the past few months. We’ll be previewing our epic new social game that we’ve partnered with Capcom Interactive on. I can’t tell you much more right now but don’t hesitate to stop us to see what all the fuss is about. You’ll be pleasantly surprised! Hopefully this is only the beginning of a slew of amazing announcements coming from IUGO in upcoming months.

As summer fades away, big things are coming for IUGO this fall. The launch of our mysterious social game will be happening! We apologize for all the tight-lipped behaviour on this, but we’re launching our labour of love with a prestigious partner. We can’t jump until they jump. Suffice it to say the game is awesome and we can’t wait to share it with the world.
As you may have read already, IUGO is a launch partner with Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 We are pleased to bring you Zombie Attack! Second Wave and Implode!; both Xbox Live-enabled. They look and run fantastically on the new devices. We are honoured to be a part of the launch and feel extremely optimistic about WP7’s potential to succeed in the smartphone market.
IUGO is heading south to attend GDC Online in Austin, TX from Oct. 4-7. We’re excited! If you too will be attending the convention drop us a line to schedule a meeting. We have other projects beginning this Fall that should further build the excitement for us and IUGO fans. We’ll reward your patience with more announcements this fall!

IUGO is riding right on an exciting cusp at the moment. This Fall brings exciting things: Apple’s Game Center is launching, IUGO will be releasing our secret project we’re currently working on with an incredible partner, as well as announcing other exclusive partnerships in mobile gaming. We should have more news for you on that secret project VERY SOON. Check back here in coming days for that announcement.

There’s never a dull moment in the mobile games space! We’ve been watching a lot of shifts happening within the industry; some not so good but mostly lots of positive and exciting changes happening. iPhone 4 proved to be as awesome as anticipated and IUGO is stoked to see Game Center launch later this year.
Our very own Director of Business Development, Sarah Thomson, will be speaking at Casual Connect in Seattle this July. Mark your calendars off for Wednesday, July 21st at 1:30pm for Sarah’s talk on “Bringing Games to Mobile Platforms Under Conditions of Uncertainty and Market Volatility.”
We are about to submit a FREE version of Cliffed (simply called Cliffed FREE) which will allow all of our wonderful users to access every one of the 20 fun characters! Cliffed FREE will be an ad-enabled game. Keep any eye out for that very soon!

Summer is upon us and the studio is in high gear! As you may have heard, we are jumping headlong into social games for everyone to play. You will see titles launch under the IUGO brand as well as games in partnership with new publisher friends! We’re also going to take some of our older content and ad-enable them, which means F-R-E-E for you! That should be coming later this summer.
It’s E3 time! IUGO will be attending E3 this year down in sunny LA from June 15-17. We’re looking forward to a fun and exciting show, visiting old friends and making some new ones. If you wish to make an appointment with IUGO while there, shoot us an email at info@iugome.com.
Lastly, IUGO Mobile Entertainment will be moving offices at the end of June. We’re only moving a few blocks over, but be sure to check on our updated address here on the website and business cards at the end of June. Things are shaking up around here and we believe change is good!

As Spring creeps in, things are sprouting here at IUGO. We have 2 new games! First, ESCAPE. This simple yet cerebral casual game is a big winner! ESCAPE will be available for both BlackBerry and iPhone devices very soon.
Speaking of BlackBerry, we’ve launched our first games on the platform! Cliffed and ZA! Bad Blood is available on a number BlackBerry devices through Mobihand, Handango, BlackBerry Appworld and soon on the Verizon App Marketplace.
Next up we have Daisy Mae’s Alien Buffet. This dual stick shooter is a real hoot! Bringing down the invading alien race has never been so fun. DMAB is slated for release this month for the iPhone.
We’ll have some surprises coming down the pipe later this year for the PSP Go and iPad. Stick around, you won’t regret it!

Welcome back everyone, hope you had a wonderful holiday and Happy 2010! We’re excited for 2010 here at IUGO; it will bring more games for the iPhone and some of our current games to new platforms such as the BlackBerry and PSP Go. We’re also looking at bringing titles over to BREW! IUGO is expanding, branching out and continuing to bring you awesome games for your mobile and handheld devices.
Upcoming events include GDC in San Francisco this March, as well as the Olympics here in Vancouver, BC this February! We’ll still be here for the madness, diligently working on new games for you. I don’t have any solid game announcements at this point in time, but stay tuned, they’re coming.

Last month saw a game launch bonanza for IUGO! We saw Cliffed, Zombie Attack! Second Wave,
Implode! and A.D.D. launch.
Yeah that’s right, A.D.D. FINALLY has seen the light of day! A.D.D. has launched with over 70 minigames and more to come in updates soon.
Implode! has been a bit of a surprise hit for IUGO. Currently as I type it sits at #4 in the top 100 games on the US charts.
Wow, amazing! We have awesome updates coming soon for Implode!, Cliffed and ZA!2 featuring some super fun Christmas content.
Keep your eyes peeled for those.
We’re working hard on bringing a couple IUGO titles over to the BlackBerry, so hang tight BB owners!
We have other brand new titles in the works for multiple platforms that I can’t quite talk about yet, but check back for more info in the future.

and Toy Bot Mini Missions. Go grab them now for a rainy fall day when you've got some time and boredom to kill!
This month brings you more fun with Cliffed; a multi-platform casual game that's coming to the Iphone and Blackberry.
The IPhone version is launching with multiplayer, where up to 8 gamers can race against each other. Soon to follow is the BlackBerry version
with multiplayer mode AND this will be IUGO's FIRST game with cross-platform gaming! IPhone vs. Blackberry, bring it on!
The Zombies are back soon at IUGO too. We are working on an awesome sequel to Zombie Attack! which will be wrapped up at the end of
October and hopefully will launch at the end of this month, early next month for the Iphone. Look for the zombies to creep onto other
platforms soon too.
Lastly, IUGO has begun it's VIP Program in select titles!
This is one of the ways we wish to give back to our users. Recommend any of our VIP-enabled games to your friends and earn points
towards secret unlockables and more! So far the VIP program can and will be found in Toy Boy Mini Missions, Cliffed, the upcoming update

It has been an IUGO release bonanza on the App Store as of late! Late October saw the arrival of the long-awaited monster Star Hogs update. This brings tons of new features such as amped up graphics, in-game text taunting and 32 new maps for campaign mode FREE. It’s a meaty update for sure that is bound to keep you Hogsters busy for a spell.
Last week marked the launch of Zombie Attack! Second Wave, our 3D tower defense game modeled after the original ZA!. This time users can tear into more zombies within more maps and with a bunch of new weapons. This version also introduces hordes of challenges providing new and fun ways to prevail over the zombie minions.
Cliffed was released last weekend and is on fire with our users! This is a casual game for all ages featuring 12 unique and charismatic characters to unlock and choose from. The shining feature truly is the multiplayer mode where you can race up to 4 opponents in a mad dash to the bottom. Go grab Cliffed now on the App Store!
This month we hope to see the release of Implode! on the App Store. Tell me who doesn’t like to blow stuff up and watch the buildings tumble? Keep your eye out here for latest news on Implode’s release.
